See the coast through local eyes
Head out early with local fishermen and discover their traditional way of working at sea. This is an opportunity to observe everyday fishing, rather than a sport-fishing charter.
Participation depends on the fishermen’s agreement and the conditions on the day. We will discuss the boat, departure point, duration and safety arrangements with you before confirming an outing.

A full-day marine excursion to Kisite–Mpunguti Marine Park and Wasini Island, with a boat trip, dolphin watching, snorkeling and equipment, a traditional Swahili lunch, fresh fruit and drinking water onboard, plus a visit to the Shimoni Slave Caves. Dolphin sightings are naturally not guaranteed, and weather, tides and sea conditions may affect the programme.

Spend a full day exploring Shimba Hills with a guided excursion that includes lunch at Shimba Hills Lodge and pickup and return to Coast Sun Gardens in Msambweni. Collection is planned for 06:30, with return around 17:00.

A wildlife day trip to Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, with the option to combine it with Shimba Hills National Reserve and Sheldrick Falls. Jumbo Tours can arrange pickup and return to Coast Sun Gardens in Msambweni. For this safari, pickup is planned for 05:30; the itinerary, inclusions and availability are confirmed before booking. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
